Common Auger Faults
Not sure how to describe the problem? These are some of the faults we can look at.
Won’t start. Your auger does not start when switched on, or stops shortly after starting.
Drilling problems. The auger does not turn, or digs slowly or unevenly.
Loses power or cuts out. Your auger loses power, cuts out during use or only runs some of the time.
Noise or vibration. Unusual noises, rattling or more vibration than usual when your auger is running.
Something else. Not listed here? Describe the problem in as much detail as you can when booking.
How the Repair Works
Book this Titan TTK1048AUG repair from our website.
Tell us as much as you can about the problem.
Select whether you need us to send you a box and packaging, or will pack your auger in your own box. Before the courier arrives, drain all fuel and any engine oil and follow our packaging advice. You will be asked to confirm this at checkout.
A courier collects your auger and delivers it to our workshop. Someone aged 18 or over needs to be there to hand it over.
We assess your auger, confirm the fault and identify any parts required.
If parts and labour are needed, we email you an itemised quote, aiming to send it within 5 working days of your auger arriving.
We never start a repair without your approval. If you decide not to go ahead, we return your auger unrepaired and a £30 inspection fee applies.
Once you approve and pay the quote, we repair and test your auger, then send it back to you by courier. It is returned without fuel or oil, so refill it before use.
Why Fault Details Matter
Detailed fault information helps us diagnose your auger and work out which parts it needs. Let us know what happens when you try to use it, when the problem started, and any unusual noises, smells or warning signs you have noticed.
Straightforward, With You in Control
We have designed our repair service to make arranging a repair as easy as possible, and we will keep you informed by email from collection through to return.
