Your booking price covers the assessment of your chainsaw. Any parts and labour needed for the repair are quoted separately once we know what is wrong.

Won’t start. Your chainsaw does not start when switched on, or stops shortly after starting.
Chain problems. The chain does not turn, slips, or cuts slowly or unevenly.
Oiling problems. The chain and guide bar are not getting oil, or oil is leaking.
Loses power or cuts out. Your chainsaw loses power, cuts out during use or only runs some of the time.

How the Repair Works

Tell us as much as you can about the problem.
Select whether you need us to send you a box and packaging, or will pack your chainsaw in your own box. Before the courier arrives, drain all fuel and any engine oil, cover the chain and guide bar and follow our packaging advice. You will be asked to confirm this at checkout.
A courier collects your chainsaw and delivers it to our workshop. Someone aged 18 or over needs to be there to hand it over.
We assess your chainsaw, confirm the fault and identify any parts required.
If parts and labour are needed, we email you an itemised quote, aiming to send it within 5 working days of your chainsaw arriving.
We never start a repair without your approval. If you decide not to go ahead, we return your chainsaw unrepaired and a £30 inspection fee applies.
Once you approve and pay the quote, we repair and test your chainsaw, then send it back to you by courier. It is returned without fuel or oil, so refill it before use.
